Reception marking the launch of Dementia Supportive Communities in Wales

I am hosting a reception for the Alzheimer’s Society on 16th April 2013 the Senedd Oriel, National Assembly for Wales, Cardiff, from 6-8pm.

The reception will mark the launch of Dementia Supportive Communities in Wales. Around 43,600 people are currently living with dementia in Wales and research published in 2007 by Alzheimer’s Society suggests that this could increase by a third in coming years. The focus is on how we make Wales dementia supportive and achieve the aspirations laid out in the Welsh Government’s National Dementia Vision.

Refreshments will be available, a photographer present and entertainment provided by the Singing for the Brain choir.
