Hubbub, in partnership with Starbucks, have recently launched a £1 million “Bring it Back Fund” which aims to increase reuse and remove barriers to reusable packaging in the food and beverage industry.
This fund will support pilot projects that help shift people’s habits through behaviour change, incentives, research projects new technology ect.
With up to £300,000 worth of funding per application Aberconwy companies have been encouraged to get involved.
Commenting on the news Janet said:
“This fund will allow businesses and individuals to apply for funding to develop alternatives to single-use packaging for customers.
“With single-use plastic continuing to present serious challenges to the health of our environment it is vital that sustainable alternatives are available to retailers and customers.
“I would encourage businesses across Aberconwy to consider applying to this fund which will provide a unique opportunity to assist in the reusable packaging revolution required across the UK.”

Yn ddiweddar, mae Hubbub, mewn partneriaeth â Starbucks, wedi lansio cronfa “Bring It Back Fund” gwerth £1 miliwn, gyda’r bwriad o hybu, a dileu rhwystrau, i ailddefnyddio deunydd pacio yn y diwydiant bwyd a diod.

“Byddwn yn annog busnesau ledled Aberconwy i ystyried gwneud cais i’r gronfa hon, sy’n cynnig cyfle unigryw i gynorthwyo gyda’r chwyldro pecynnu amldro sy’n ofynnol ledled y DU.”
