Cllr Janet Finch-Saunders AM last week attended an event hosted by Action on Hearing Loss Cymru – formerly RNID.
Action on Hearing Loss Cymru provide help and support to the 480,000 people in Wales who suffer from mild to profound hearing loss.
Nearly half a million people suffering from some kind of hearing loss in Wales, equating to one in six of us.
Janet was pleased to meet with one of her constituents who suffers from hearing loss and has found Action on Hearing Loss invaluable in helping him.
Janet said: "The work of Action on Hearing Loss is admirable and I continue to support them. The new name really spells out just what Action for Hearing Loss stands for and sends a powerful message that they will truly work towards their vision.
"Too many people are suffering unnecessarily without realising how much difference the right help can make to their lives. I would urge any of my constituents who feel they need a helping hand to contact Action on Hearing Loss, or myself, to find out for themselves the fantastic support they can provide."
