Assembly Member for Aberconwy, Janet Finch-Saunders, visited the site of the new Dylan’s Restaurant, soon to open in Llandudno.
The restaurant is being developed in The Washington on Llandudno’s famous Victorian promenade.
Janet said:
“I am delighted that Robin and David have chosen to invest here in one of Llandudno’s iconic buildings”
“Definitely, I am confident that they will succeed to save and restore the grade II listed building sympathetically given their beautiful work in Criccieth”
“During my visit I saw that the timeless architecture will be complemented with both period features – sought by Mr Drew Pritachard Antiques Dealer, Restorer and Salvage Hunter –, and fabulous modern touches such as a copper dome and a large-scale map of North Wales”
“Based on the success of Menai Bridge and Criccieth, this restaurant, bistro, pub, and cocktail bar should become a destination here in North Wales, and will add to the excellent culinary reputation the town already has”.
“I look forward to seeing the completed project, and thank Robin and David for creating 50 more jobs here in Aberconwy”.
Notes:
The £1.5m project is expected to take five months with a planned opening date in May
