Janet Finch-Saunders AM, Welsh Conservative Older People’s Champion and Andrew RT Davies AM, Leader of the Welsh Conservatives, were both pleased to meet with Lyndon Miles, Chairman, and Trystan Pritchard, Chief Executive, at St David’s Hospice, and would like to praise all involved with the organisation for the incredible work they do.
Janet said:
“It is always a humbling experience to be at St David’s hospice, and see how so many of the community rally behind this incredible organisation.
“Volunteers play a major role, such as running the reception, supervising the shop, catering for the café, and raising huge amount of funds.
“Currently, £7,500 of donated money is required to run the hospice daily. So the hospice’s continuity, and decision to try and expand help further in Anglesey and Gwynedd, really is testament to the importance of the contribution made by all.
“Thanks to their hard work, individuals with life-limiting illnesses and their families and friends are receiving invaluable support, which is something we should all be extremely proud of”.
