Calls for prompt action on A55 delays

Friday, 6 November, 2015

As the traffic controls at the Penmaenbach Tunnel on the A55 affect hundreds of motorists, Janet Finch-Saunders, Assembly Member for Aberconwy said:

“The logistical issues with the works need urgently addressing, and I have written to the Welsh Labour Government Minister – Edwina Hart AM – who is responsible for these works to express the anger and frustration felt by many here in Aberconwy and to request that this is looked into as a matter of urgent priority.

“It is imperative that the Minister and North and Mid Wales Trunk Road Agency take swift and prompt action to combat these unacceptable delays and overall impact to traffic problems at peak times, which are really impacting on the daily lives of our residents.”
