“Significant failures” found at Penmaenmawr Town Council

Following reports in the media that Penmaenmawr Town Council’s financial reserves were almost exhausted and that urgent cuts were needed to balance books, and serious concerns raised by residents, the Welsh Audit Office has published its review of the Council’s accounts for 2013-14 to 2018-19.

“It is time to deal with delays to transfers of care”

Following the finding that Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) had the highest number of delayed transfers of care in the Welsh NHS, Janet Finch-Saunders, Shadow Minister for Social Care, is calling for actions to be taken to deal with the delays now.

Campaign: Clear the Wales Coastal Path

A campaign has been started to see the break in the Wales Coastal Path between Deganwy and Llandudno cleared. This is being led by Janet Finch-Saunders, Assembly Member for Aberconwy, who has written to the Welsh Government to ask for the decision not to maintain the route to be reconsidered.
