Concern at North Wales Mental Health Staffing Gaps

Janet Finch-Saunders, Assembly Member for Aberconwy, has expressed her concerns at staffing gaps in the North Wales Mental Health and Learning Disability Division.

 

The figures are noted in papers for the BCUHB Board Meeting, due to be held this Thursday.

 

AM Call for Crackdown on Illegal Razor Clam Ban Harvesting

Following increased reports of harvesters returning to collect razor clams on Llanfairfechan beach – despite the fishery’s closure by the Welsh Government until 31st December 2018 – Aberconwy AM Janet Finch-Saunders has called for a further crackdown on the practice.

 

Llandudno High Street Rating Questioned

Aberconwy AM, Janet Finch-Saunders, has written an open letter to the authors of a report which ranked Llandudno as having one of the worse high streets in the UK.

 

In a letter to Cushman and Wakefield, who produced the ‘UK High Streets: Dead or Alive?’ report, Janet said:

Figures uncovered by local Assembly Member, Janet Finch-Saunders, have revealed the £29,000+ cost per year to house and board stray dogs in Conwy County Borough Council.

 

The dogs are housed at the Nant Y Corn Kennels in Abergele.
