Janet Finch-Saunders, Conservative Assembly Member for Aberconwy has called for the roll-out of Superfast Broadband to reach all areas of Wales with a quicker pace. She said:
"I’m concerned that Aberconwy, and large parts of North Wales more generally, are being left behind as superfast- broadband is made available. I welcome the availability of funding to residents that experience slower connection speeds, but I believe more needs to be done to publicise the availability of those funds."
"In this increasingly interconnected world, broadband provides businesses with the infrastructure they need to expand and flourish. I support the moves by the Government to provide funding for those unable to receive an adequate service.
"In my constituency there are many ‘not-spots’, and not enough ‘hot-spots’ and so I have urged the Welsh Government to ensure the people of Aberconwy don’t suffer inequality of provision"
