Following reports over the weekend of more harvesting illegally gathering razor clams at Llanfairfechan, the AM for Aberconwy, Janet Finch-Saunders, has written further to the Cabinet Secretary for Enviroment and Rural Affairs to call for urgent action.

The Member has also written to the new District Inspector for North Wales Police, Julie Sheard, to request increased police patrols, and an update on how the police are working with the Welsh Government Fisheries Department on this matter.
