Cllr Janet Finch-Saunders AM, Assembly Member for Aberconwy, officially opened the new Cartrefi Conwy on Madoc Street, Llandudno on Thursday.
Janet was joined by Andrew Bowden, Cartrefi Conwy Chief Executive; Helen Egan, Head of Neighbourhood Services; Gary Jordan, Assistant Head of Neighbourhood Services, and Glyn Jones, Neighbourhood Manager and his team based at the Llandudno office.
Cartrefi Conwy decided to open the new office in order to be closer to many of their tenants that live in and around Llandudno and Llandudno Junction. Cartrefi Conwy is a registered social landlord providing quality affordable housing for local communities. Approximately one third of their homes are sheltered housing for elderly and vulnerable people, with the remaining being general housing.
Janet said: “Providing local communities with quality affordable housing is of the utmost importance and Cartrefi Conwy is at the forefront of providing this vital service. I am proud to have seen Cartrefi Conwy develop throughout my time as a County Councillor and, now as Assembly Member for Aberconwy, I am delighted to have officially opened their news offices. I look forward to working closely with Cartrefi Conwy, especially as my new office is almost next door!”
Cllr Janet Finch-Saunders AM’s new constituency office at 29 Madoc Street, Llandudno will be opening soon.
