Janet Finch-Saunders AM has today called on the First Minister for Wales in paying tribute to the work of British Legion volunteers, ahead of Remembrance Sunday.

Janet said:

“It is important that we acknowledge the dedication and hard work of the many British Legion volunteers across Wales and Aberconwy, raising money for the Poppy Appeal.

“Their work is vital to the British Legion in providing advice and support to veterans, service men and women, and their families, and reminds us of how much has been given for this country by so many.

“I am honoured to be able to pay tribute to all those giving their time, so that we may remember and support those who have given so much more for our country and values.”
