Requests made to the Welsh Government to call-in a cplanning application for the former Pier Pavilion site on Llandudno’s Victoria Promenade have been turned down by the Cabinet Secretary with responsibility for Planning, Lesley Griffiths AM.

Local Assembly Member, Janet Finch-Saunders AM, said:

“The Cabinet Secretary has outlined her reasons for turning down this request.

“The strength off feeling as regards this application – both for and against, is clear in the volume and diversity of correspondence I have received – from constituents of all ages, and from others from across the UK and France, for whom Llandudno is a favourite holiday destination.”
