Public Drop-in Events: Coastal Defence Improvements at Penrhyn Bay and Llanfairfechan
Conwy County Borough Council are seeking funding from the Welsh Government to improve the coastal flood defences around the county coastline to face the challenge of climate change and future sea level rise.
Penrhyn Bay and Llanfairfechan are two locations where schemes have been identified that could attract funding to reduce the coastal flood risk and improve amenity access onto the foreshore.
The Council’s Flood Risk and Infrastructure team invite you to come along to the following drop-in events to meet engineering staff and consultants who will explain the current flood risk to the community and the possible options to protect the neighbourhood from future coastal flooding:
Thursday 22nd March: Penrhyn Bay Library (LL30 2RP) - 10am to 6pm.
Monday 26th March: Llanfairfechan Town Hall (LL33 0AB) - 10am to 6pm.
