Cllr Janet Finch-Saunders AM called for AMs from across the party spectrum to work together to deliver for Wales. Speaking in the Stroke-Risk Reduction Debate Janet said:
"The Health and Social Services Committee report has the potential to make a significant contribution to the improvement of stroke services in Wales and highlights some critical findings and recommendations.
"The issue of stroke and stroke-risk reduction is too important a matter for us to come back in five years’ time only to find that little has changed on the ground.
"I want to see the Government and members of all parties getting behind this Report and working together so that we can deliver real, tangible, change to the health and lives of the people of Wales."
Galwodd Cyng. Janet Finch-Saunders AC i Aelodau Cynulliad o bob rhan o'r sbectrwm gwleidyddol i weithio gyda'i gilydd i gyflawni dros Gymru. Wrth siarad yn y Ddadl Lleihau Risg Strôc dywedodd Janet:
"Mae gan adroddiad y Pwyllgor Iechyd a Gwasanaethau Cymdeithasol y potensial i wneud cyfraniad sylweddol at wella gwasanaethau strôc yng Nghymru ac mae’r adroddiad yn amlygu rhai canfyddiadau allweddol ac argymhellion da.
"Mae'r mater o leihau strôc a risg-strôc yn rhy bwysig o fater i ni ddod yn ôl ymhen pum mlynedd 'dim ond i ddarganfod bod dim ond ychydig wedi newid ar y ddaear.
"Rwyf am weld y Llywodraeth ac aelodau o bob plaid yn tynnu tu ôl i Adroddiad hwn ac yn gweithio gyda'n gilydd fel y gallwn ddarparu newid diriaethol, go iawn i iechyd a bywydau pobl Cymru."
