Janet Finch-Saunders AM, Shadow Minister for Local Government, criticised the Welsh Government yesterday over their supplementary budget allocations for substance misuse.
Janet said: "The recently published Shared Purpose, Shared Delivery document highlights the centrality of collaboration and multi-agency working to the Welsh Government.
"However, I have been disappointed to see that the substance misuse allocation has once again been shifted from the Local Government Budget to the Health Budget, the third such journey that this particular SPA has made.
"I want to see firm guarantees from the Minister for Finance that money transferred from the Local Government budget will go solely towards tackling substance misuse and not towards financing another costly Health Board bail-out."
Wnaeth Janet Finch-Saunders AC, Gweinidog yr Wrthblaid dros Lywodraeth Leol, beirniadu Llywodraeth Cymru ddoe dros eu dyraniadau cyllideb atodol ar gyfer camddefnyddio cyffuriau. Dywedodd Janet:
"Wnaeth y ddogfen ‘Shared Purpose, Shared Delivery’ a gyhoeddwyd yn ddiweddar dweud pa mor ganolog yw cydweithredu a gwaith aml-asiantaeth i Lywodraeth Cymru.
"Fodd bynnag, cefais fy siomi i weld bod y dyraniad camddefnyddio cyffuriau unwaith eto wedi cael ei symud o Gyllideb Llywodraeth Leol i Gyllideb Iechyd y trydedd daith mae’r SPA penodol hwn wedi'i wneud.
"Rwyf am weld gwarantau cadarn gan y Gweinidog dros Gyllid y bydd arian sydd wedi ei drosglwyddo o'r gyllideb Llywodraeth Leol yn mynd tuag at fynd i'r afael â chamddefnyddio cyffuriau ac nid tuag at ariannu achub-allan Bwrdd Iechyd costus arall."
