Welsh Parliament Votes to Punish Parents

The majority of Members of the Welsh Parliament who have just voted in favour of the smacking ban have been described as choosing to “vote to punish parents”.

 

Calls for an Institute of Technology in North Wales

During the debate in the Senedd on workforce skills, Janet Finch-Saunders, Assembly Member for Aberconwy, and Chairman of the Cross-Party Group on Small Shops, called on the Welsh Government to establish an Institute of Technology in North Wales so to help tackle the skills shortage.

 

Conwy’s CREST of a Radio Wave

Janet Finch-Saunders, Assembly Member for Aberconwy, and Robin Millar, Member of Parliament for Aberconwy, had the honour of launching a new radio station at CREST Co-operative, Llandudno Junction.

 

Support Welsh Farmers

Having enjoyed two farm breakfasts this week in Cardiff Bay and Ysbyty Ifan with Mr Glyn Roberts, President of FUW, and Mr Gwynedd Watkin, County Executive Officer for FUW, Janet Finch-Saunders, Assembly Member for Aberconwy, is asking constituents to join with her in supporting Welsh farmers.
