Dear Janet,

Thank you for your letter in relation to the sale of disposable BBQs. I have raised your concern with Aldi 
who have asked me to respond to you on their behalf.

Aldi is committed to protecting the environment and upholding the highest standards of health and 
safety. Nationally disposable BBQs were sold in accordance to the required regulations and guidelines 
and contained the following responsibility message: 

*	Please dispose of in a responsible manner and help protect the environment.

I can confirm that Aldi has no further plans to sell disposable BBQs again this year and are currently 
reviewing their plans for next year. Aldi will of course take onboard your concerns around the 
environment and public health.
