Janet Finch-Saunders, Member of the Welsh Parliament for Aberconwy is saddened by the outcome of yesterday’s vote in the Senedd, where Welsh Labour and Plaid Cymru voted to expand the Senedd by an additional 36 members and introduce a ‘closed list’ voting system to Wales.

Janet has spoken up about the numerous children that are unnecessary absent from school. Too many of our children are absent from school and our teachers are needlessly blamed.

Rent Smart Wales are still not operating as intended and in some cases is causing landlord to leave the sector as they become alienated. 

We must do more to protect both landlord and tenant and encourage a balanced and fair relationship between them
