After visiting Celia Williams and Trefor Price for a walk around Conwy town to see the Incredible Edible gardens that have been grown and nurtured by the Incredible Edible team. Janet expressed her absolute delight that this volunteer group had succeeded in growing gardens whereby visitors and residents alike can come along and take away some of the produce grown.
Janet added:
“The hard work and effort that has gone into growing this marvellous array of vegetables, herbs and flowers is clear. These features add a distinctly unique flavour to the town of Conwy.
“Some of the areas visited with Celia and Trefor were the Conwy Library / Culture Centre where they had grown a tea and a fragrant herbal garden and then onto the Tourism Information Centre whereby the group had turned the walled garden area into a fantastic vegetable and herb allotment. We then proceeded down to the wishing well and again saw first-hand, sunflowers, leeks, courgettes, and various vegetables growing.
“Whilst the team currently comprises of 17 volunteers they are always looking out to welcome new members. I would like to thank Celia, Trefor and the team for all their magnificent efforts. If there are any budding gardeners who want to join this group, then please do get in touch.”

Ymunodd Janet â Celia Williams a Trefor Price am daith o amgylch tref Conwy i weld gerddi anhygoel 'Bwyd Bendigedig' sydd wedi'u tyfu a'u meithrin gan griw anhygoel. Roedd Janet yn falch o weld bod y grŵp gwirfoddol hwn wedi llwyddo i dyfu gerddi lle gall ymwelwyr a thrigolion fel ei gilydd ddod draw i gasglu rhywfaint o'r cynnyrch sy'n cael eu tyfu yno.
Ychwanegodd Janet:
“Mae'r holl waith caled a'r ymdrech a gafwyd i dyfu'r casgliad rhyfeddol yma o lysiau, perlysiau a blodau yn amlwg i bawb. Mae'r nodweddion hyn yn ychwanegu blas go unigryw i dref Conwy.
“Rhai o'r ardaloedd eraill yr ymwelais â nhw gyda Celia a Trefor oedd Llyfrgell / Canolfan Ddiwylliant Conwy lle'r oedden nhw wedi tyfu gardd de a llysieuol bersawrus cyn mynd ymlaen i'r Ganolfan Groeso, lle'r oed y grŵp wedi troi'r ardd furiog yn rhandir gwych o lysiau a pherlysiau. Yna, ymlaen â ni i'r ffynnon ofuned a oedd yn cynnwys gwledd o flodau haul, cennin, corbwmpenni ac amryw o lysiau.
“Er bod y tîm yn cynnwys 17 o wirfoddolwyr ar hyn o bryd maen nhw bob amser yn croesawu aelodau newydd. Hoffwn ddiolch i Celia, Trefor a'r tîm am eu holl ymdrechion godidog. Os hoffai unrhyw arddwyr brwd ymuno â'r grŵp hwn, yna da chi, cysylltwch.”
