The Member of the Welsh Parliament for Aberconwy, Janet Finch-Saunders MS, has celebrated the return of the Daily Post/North Wales Live Business Awards, following a year’s hiatus, encouraging businesses from across the constituency to nominate themselves or others.
This year, there are 10 separate categories ranging from Start-Up of the year to green champions. A full list of categorise can be found by heading to the Awards’ website. The ceremony will take place on Wednesday December 15 at Bangor University, hosted by ITV weather presenter Emma Jesson.
Encouraging the participation of local businesses, Janet said:
“From our food and drink producers who are gaining global reputations for their quality, to our brilliant hospitality and accommodation businesses that ensure we remain the gem in the Welsh tourism crown and the adventure capital of the UK; North Wales, and the constituency of Aberconwy in particular, is blessed with an enduring entrepreneurial spirit.
“How our homegrown businesses have successfully bridged the past twenty-one months, with the continued support of local residents and in spite of the challenges from Cardiff Bay, is a testament to their resilience, innovation and optimism. What better way to crystalise their triumphs than with a win at these important regional business awards?
“The return of these awards is most welcome as they put a much-deserved spotlight on the efforts of our business community. I heartily encourage local businesses and entrepreneurs to apply to these awards so that your work can be recognised and promoted across a number of print and digital titles.”
